The personalization of a smartphone Android, but also of an Apple, it is really very simple thing. Thanks to the developer options that can be activated through the settings, you can access a myriad of additional options. However, they exist much simpler ways to customize your device: apps. Here we will look at a way to get transparent live wallpapers. What does it mean? Basically how to have (and actually it is) the always-on camera that captures what we have in front of us.
Here's how to set a real-time and transparent live wallpaper / live wallpaper on your Android smartphone. A very simple guide in a few steps
The method we use is the easiest: download an application. We tried Transparent Live Wallpaper (Camera on Wallpaper) for Android which, in spite of the reviews, performed very well. How does it work? Basically the application goes to activate the camera both at home and when the smartphone is locked. In this way it is possible to see “through” the device. How to proceed?
- download the app from the Play Store directly on our smartphone, open it and we will find this screen (photo on the left)
- we allow access to the application and immediately after we will find ourselves in front of the screen shown in the photo on the right
- here are several options for customizing the live wallpaper: let's set them as we care even if we we recommend keeping them that way. There is the option to balance the colors or the one dedicated to particular filters
- the last thing to do is select the last option below "Set as wallpaper“: Once done we decide whether to set it (using the button at the bottom) on the home or on the lock screen.

In a very simple way we have made our smartphone "transparent". We remind you that this modality, although easy, consumes a lot of battery. In fact, the camera (both front and rear, based on the one we use) is always on and this weighs on autonomy of the smartphone.
