With a circular design, this device has been conceived for the protection of children, as it has many functions for the safety of their children, including tracking of the same / s. It has a food-grade silicone strap (approved by the FDA) to not irritate the baby's delicate skin and an LED matrix display in the same color as the strap. In addition, it has a physical button available to send an SOS request to its parents which, once pressed, records an audio track of seven seconds and sends it together with the GPS coordinates. This is possible thanks to a SIM Mi company that has a credit of 10 Yuan (poco more than 1 €) and with a call cost per minute / megabyte consumed of 0,1 Yuan.
Furthermore, it is possible to associate it with its special smartphone app (compatible with Android 4.2+ and iOS 8+) through which it is possible to set a security perimeter which, once passed, will be notified on the smartphone. It will certainly not be what many expected but it is still a good starting point for future similar projects and who knows, the next one could be a smartwatch more in line with those competing.
