iQOO, Vivo's smartphone sub-brand, presented its new wireless headphones in China: the iQOO TWS Air 2. A pair of wireless headphones that aim to offer a high-level gaming and multimedia experience, thanks to low latency, sound quality and noise reduction.
iQOO TWS Air 2 presented: wireless headphones with low latency and long battery life
The iQOO TWS Air 2 have a similar design to the previous generation, with a silver gray color and a semi-in-ear shape with temple. The weight is only 3,6 grams per ear, which guarantees prolonged comfort. The charging case has a rectangular shape with rounded corners and a circular LED that indicates the battery status.
One of the main features of the TWS Air 2 is the low latency, reaching 55 ms in game mode, thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 connection. This means that the sound is synchronized with the image, without delays or phase shifts. Furthermore, the headphones support simultaneous connection to two devices, such as smartphone and PC, and quick switching between them.
As for sound quality, the iQOO TWS Air 2 are equipped with a14,2 mm sound unit, tuned by industry experts. The headphones also support panoramic 3D sound effect, which creates a feeling of immersion and spatiality. For calls, the TWS Air 2 have a call function AI-based noise reduction, which suppresses up to 51% of ambient noise.
Finally, the iQOO TWS Air 2 boast a long battery life, which reaches up to 30 hours with the charging case. The headphones can play music for 6 hours on a single charge and for another 24 hours with the case. Furthermore, they support fast charging, which allows you to get 2 hours of listening with just 10 minutes of charge.
The TWS Air 2 are on sale in China starting today, al launch price of 119 yuan (about 15 euros). It is not yet known whether they will also arrive in other markets.
