iQOO, best known for its smartphones, may soon launch a new tablet called PathAir. The device recently appeared on the platform 3C certification of China, revealing some of its technical characteristics.
iQOO Pad Air certified on 3C, could be a rebrand of the Vivo Pad Air
From what we can see on the Chinese certification site, the iQOO Pad Air, with the model number “iPA2451”, comes with support for quick charge from 44W. This can be understood from the fact that the device comes with a charging adapter with the model number V4440L0A0-CN which has a maximum charging power of 44W.
Furthermore, the iQOO Pad Air with the same model number “iPA2451” was spotted on Google Play's list of supported devices last month. We also note that the tablet shares its codename with the already launched Vivo Pad Air. So there is a possibility that the Pad Air could be a rebrand of the Vivo Pad Air.
Let's therefore review the specifications of the Vivo Pad Air starting from its large screen from 11,5 inches with 2.8K resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio, DCI-P3 color gamut and 144Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and is completed by 8GB of RAM and a generous 128GB of storage. There is one to keep the lights on 8500mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
The Vivo Pad Air supports the Vivo Pencil 2 stylus. In terms of connectivity, it offers options such as Wi-Fi up to 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and USB-C (USB 3.0). The back shell is made of metal. The tablet measures 6,67 mm thick and weighs 530 grams.
As for the iQOO Pad Air, details are currently limited, but its presence in the certifications suggests an imminent launch. Rumors suggest a possible debut in Q2 2024, following the introduction of the Vivo Pad 3.
