In these hours, several not-so-positive reports are arriving regarding some models Xiaomi. According to several Reddit users, some models of the Chinese house (including those of the series My 11) would have an annoying bug that would make them almost unusable. But let's go in order, trying to understand something more from a news that is making the rounds of the web.
Xiaomi's bugs concern the touchscreen
According to reports from the network, the bug we are talking about concerns specifically significant touchscreen response problems. This both on some more recent smartphones (as in the case of Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra), and with reference to less new devices. Basically, as you can also see from some videos posted on YouTube, the devices would stop receiving input on the touchscreen in a specific area of the display when scrolling through vertical lists.
Here is the list of devices that seem to be suffering from this problem, which emerged by some users on Reddit:
- Xiaomi Mi 11
- Xiaomi mi 10 ultra
- Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite
- Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro
- Notes redmi 10 Pro
- Redmi Notes 9S
It is trying to understand the cause of these problems in the first place may have arisen after the update to MIUI 12.5. According to some users, however, the bug would have arisen even before the update in question. The worrying thing is that there doesn't seem to be an easy resolution, since not even a factory reset seems to fix it permanently. We must not despair, however: this is not a hardware problem, but a software defect that can be solved with an update.
In the meantime, we take note that Xiaomi has not yet officially ruled on what is happening. He may also be working on a software fix. All that remains is to wait for updates. Please let us know if you are also experiencing these problems.
it is absolutely impossible to manage. Where did I get the phone they clearly blame me and repeating the data tasting again on another phone would be chaos ... do you know when they will do this update? I haven't been able to unlock it for hours
