Is it time for Redmi Note 12?
Two Redmi Note 12 series devices have been spotted on TENAA with model numbers “22041216C” and “22041216UC”. Both phones are listed with display by 6,6 ", Android 12 and Dual SIM Dual Standby support. The first has a 4980 mAh, however, while the latter has a smaller battery from 4300 mAh.
And now, according to a recent Weibing post from Weibing, it has been concluded that the company is following the “two series of Redmi Note 11 per year” strategy from 2021 and will continue the same this year as well. Consequently, the Redmi Note 12 is expected to arrive very soon. The post suggests that the phones will see a major performance upgrade, over their predecessors.
At the moment, not much is known about the Redmi Note 12 series. Indeed, Xiaomi is asking for naming recommendations, considering the number of phones per series can be confusing. Some rumors also refer to the possible existence of a Redmi Note 12X, or, perhaps, only of Redmi Note 12.
We don't even know the number of models that will be launched. Considering the case of its previous series, it could be the Redmi Note 12, the Redmi Note 12 Pro, and possibly a Redmi Note 12 Pro +, and some other cheap offer. While the details of the spec sheet remain unknown, we can expect the phones to feature a high refresh rate, faster charging speeds and an even more stylish design.
We don't know when exactly the alleged series will be launched in China. However, short times are not to be expected with reference to the global market. We will obviously keep you updated on further details regarding the Redmi Note 12 as they come out.
