Xiaomi is a very active company within various categories concerning technology (which soon will be expanded). From smartphones to the Smart Home, the Chinese giant takes care to offer us products that simplify our lives in many respects. The latest device that has presented and which we want to talk to you about today is the second generation of the XiaoYi Small Ants Smart Camera.
For those who do not know it, it is a surveillance camera whose first generation was introduced last year and became popular in China. Xiaomi's hope is that this second generation also retraces the same footsteps of the first, becoming a popular product from its users right away.
Among the improvements made in this second generation, we find a new CMOS sensor produced by Panasonic that uses a ISP S2LM and is able to record video to 1080p is 25 fps and with a shooting angle of 130 degrees. The lens focal opening is f / 2.0 while the software department allows you to take advantage of several important features, such as the smart HDR and LDC (Lens Distortion Correction).
Recorded videos are stored either or inside the micro SD or directly on the cloud in an encrypted way. Obviously the XiaoYi Small Ants Smart Camera is also equipped with motion sensor which enables video recording activation as soon as it detects the presence of something that moves.
Coming to the salient feature of the product, or the price, Xiaomi does not disappoint as usual. The XiaoYi Small Ants Smart Camera will soon be available in China at the price of 399 yuan, or about 55 euro (at the exchange rate).
