As already announced a couple of weeks ago, Xiaomi presented its new YI 4K + action camera at CES. The YI brand, although not prolific (there are only a dozen products with this logo) has already become synonymous with quality and has been given the nickname “Go Pro Killer”, given the exceptional performance of the models previously produced. The 4K +, the latest creation that will soon be added to the official line-up (for now, price and launch date have not yet been disclosed), is a further step forward in the field of action shooting. This new action camera is in fact the first capable of capturing videos in 4K and at 60 fps, surpassing the potential of the currently most powerful action camera on the market, the Go Pro Hero 5 Black. Another standout feature of this new model is the Ambarella H2 processor, which offers an unmatched maximum data throughput of 120Mbps. But it doesn't stop there: the 4K is in fact equipped with electronic image stabilization, support for live streaming features and VR technology. The smart camera is also equipped with USB Type-C and USB 3.0 interfaces.
The real surprise is given by the dimensions of the device, which remain the same despite the amount of features and upgrades with which it has been equipped. As already reported, price and launch date have not been disclosed, but the YI 4K + is expected to be made available very soon, to the delight of all athletes.
