LeEco has finally announced the much discussed Pro 3. Although the price is competitive and the technical specifications are inviting, the latter disappoint the expectations that had been created in recent weeks. Numerous rumors claimed that the new model of the Chinese company would have had 8 GB of RAM available. The reality is that LeEco hasn't gone that far: it has been announced that two versions of the phone will be available, one with 4 Gb of RAM and one with 6.
The new admiral is however equipped with a respectable hardware. What is most striking is certainly the 821 Ghz Snapdragon 2.35 chipset, present on both models. Also note the 16 Mpx Sony IMX298 rear camera with F2.0 aperture and PDAF. The rest of the specs are average with other phones released in the past few months. Both versions will have a 5,5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 8 Mpx front camera, 4070 mAh battery and Qualcomm 3.0 fast charging. The dimensions of the metal frame are 151.4 x 73.9 x 7.5 mm and the weight will be 175 grams. As well as Apple and Motorola, LeEco has also decided to eliminate the 3,5 mm audio jack and use the USB Type-C port instead. 4 colors will be available: Force Gold, Jazz Charm Gold, Silver and Gray. Memory options range from 32Gb up to 128Gb, with prices starting at 1799 Yuan up to 2999 Yuan. Of course, Chinese buyers will be the first to receive the smartphone, with online retailers expected to have all models in stock within a few weeks.
