For some time now, we had heard about the possible existence of two new top range smartphones next to the presentation. However, the real crucial point on which the company is focusing on is the production of smartphones (in general) which, according to Lei Jun (CEO Xiaomi) through a post on Weibo, will increase in this second half of the year, so to avoid potential sales drop due to the scarcity of stocks available, especially for the upcoming top of the range.
Furthermore, Lei Jun continues stating that in this second half of 2016 there will certainly be new top-end devices. As a result, we are now confident that there are more great-looking devices arriving before the end of the year, one of which may be Xiaomi Note 4 Redmire but the Xiaomi Mi 5S and the Mi Note 2 can not be excluded. The latter should have an improved pressure-sensitive display with support for Qualcomm's Ultrasonic technology and a rear camera featuring two photo sensors | Xiaomi Mi 5S and Mi Note 2 advanced pressure sensitive displays |. Finally, the Xiaomi CEO concludes by reporting what is perhaps the most relevant news of all, that is, all the devices that will be presented in these last months of the year will continue with the market policy that has determined the success of this company, therefore excellent specifications (and materials) at an affordable price.
All the reputation obtained over the years by this company within the Asian continent (and beyond) has been possible thanks to its aggressive market policy. However, now the dilemma that arises is another one, namely what the new market policy mentioned by Hugo Barra? Will there still be devices with top specs but at a competitive price? We are not currently able to answer these questions but we hope to receive more information about them as soon as possible from Xioami (or whoever for you).
