With the advent on the market of the new and amazing top of the range Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, the Chinese company has shown that it can keep up with the most famous brands on the market, becoming itself a globally recognized brand. In particular, as regards photographic performance, Xiaomi currently holds the first place in the severe ranking drawn up by DxOMark, reaching a score of 130 points, thus detaching the former king of Huawei P40 Pro camera phones.
Certainly DxOMark does not represent the absolute dictum in the overall picture of camera phones but it is certainly a point of reference for the photographic capabilities of a smartphone and for all those looking for the best performance in this area. Xiaomi in the past has already earned the top positions in the ranking, as in the case of Xiaomi Mi 9 CC Pro, the first penta camera with a 108 MP sensor, which in its time reaches the top together with Huawei's Mate 30 Pro.
Lei Jun is excited by the success obtained in DxOMark with Mi 10 Ultra
With the launch of Mi 10 Pro, the company took the scepter back in hand with a score of 124 but nevertheless immediately after it was shunned by OPPO's Find X2 Pro. But with this Mi 10 Ultra, Xiaomi has worked hard and with excellent results so much that Lei Jun himself was excited about the result in the ranking drawn up by DxOMark, thus decreeing the top of the range of the Asian brand as the best camera phone currently on the market and specifically with a score of 142 for photo performance and 106 for video performance, or 2 points and 1 point respectively higher than Huawei P40 Pro.
Lei Jun has published a post on the social Weibo, in which he expresses all his happiness and excitement for the result obtained by Mi 10 Ultra, remembering where he started from. In fact, in May 2018, Xiaomi announced the establishment of a development sector dedicated exclusively to the camera and video department. Two years later, the results are starting to become more and more constant but Lei Jun says that the trend will continue upwards.
Xiaomi will continue the research and development towards the technology that will allow to obtain the highest quality level from the cameras of its smartphones.
