While this tablet is certainly powerful and suitable for those who want to enjoy games on a large display, it's not the ideal solution for those looking for a more compact and lighter gaming tablet.

Thankfully, there is a new alternative on the market that promises to meet the needs of the most demanding players. It's about the Lenovo Legion Y700, The first 8 inch gaming tablet from the famous gaming PC brand.

Il Legion Y700 was announced today via a teaser on Lenovo's official website, which reveals some of its key features. Unlike the Red Magics, the Lenovo Legion Y700 has one 8-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, which supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. In addition, the screen has 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, which ensures faithful and vivid color rendering.

The design of the Lenovo Legion Y700 is thought to offer maximum ergonomics to gamers, with thin edges on the sides and thicker at the top and bottom, to make it easier to grip in landscape mode. The tablet is also equipped with dual X linear motors, which offer haptic feedback during gameplay, and an advanced cooling system, which prevents the device from overheating.

For battery, the Legion Y700 it has a capacity of 6550 mAh and supports the quick charge from 45 W, which allows you to recharge the tablet in poco time. The tablet also has a headphone jack from 3,5 mm, an increasingly rare feature in modern devices, but highly appreciated by gamers.

Finally, the Lenovo Legion Y700 is supposed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ processor Gen1, last year's most powerful mobile chip, delivering exceptional smoothness and speed in any game. The tablet should also have generous RAM memory and ample internal storage space.

The Legion Y700 will be released on July 22nd and is shaping up to be one of the best gaming tablets on the market.
