Lenovo solves the notch problem and shows it with this patent

The more we go on with the screen technology, the more we demand a full screen display. We went to hallucinating notches, just think of Xiaomi Mi 8 for example, to devices without a camera on the front panel. An example of these latter devices is Redmi K20 Pro with its retractable camera. But even earlier, Oppo, with the series Reno 2 and the shark fin camera. Now also Lenovo has decided to try the company and seems to have solved the problem adding a piece of shell above the display. Let's see how he did it together.

Lenovo's new patent shows a smartphone without a notch, without holes, but still with a front camera

As usual we thank the team of 91mobiles for bringing us pictures of this patent.

As you can see in the sketches above, the Chinese brand has decided to remove any contamination on the display through a "horn". This would be placed in a corner of the device and right here would be housed the front camera that we usually see in the center or at the corner of the front panel.

The rear has also been revisited and the company has thought of different ways to present the rear cameras. We see some of them below.

Regardless of the solution adopted for the rear cameras, the choice of a piece of body that comes out in this way leads to the resolution of a feature that raises the price of devices with a pop-up mechanism. In fact, as the staff of 91mobiles, the pop-up mechanism requires a minimum of impermeability as for camera spilling, water could enter without problems.

Lenovo with this type of front cam seems to have solved this problem too. What do you think? Do you like the idea? Moreover, this device seems to be really super thin.
