In May, 2016 Xiaomi officially released its first drone, Xiaomi Mi Drone, announcing that a version with 4K registration could be sold later. Well with a slight delay, the We Drone 4K is finally coming to all such lovers.
Xiaomi announced that Mi Drone 4K will be released on March 3 and that the use of the same will be easy and reachable even for newbies, it will be safe, portable and with the ability to record high quality movies.
Both the "old" 1080p version and the new Xiaomi Mi Drone 4K feature 4 features accessible from App or remote:
1. One Key for Control: Auto-fly / Fly / Return / Land
2. Flight Guide: The autopilot will guide you to the destination of the map.
3. Route planning: Another help to fly by presetting a predefined trajectory to have more fluid images.
4. Flying around axes: you can set the center, flight height and radius of the circumference that the drone will have to fly by taking real-time photos.
The Xiaomi Mi Drone 4K integrates the TDMA technology and takes advantage of high definition digital maps, is equipped with a strong anti-interference ability, and low latency makes it remote control up to 4 Km. Present naturally the GPS + GLONASS which is fast, accurate, and stable, as well as positioning is quick.
Flight stability is guaranteed by two separate IMU sensors for the compass that make orientation heterogeneous also thanks to the remote control that exploits the sensory fusion data collected. When the Xiaomi Mi Drone 4K battery is low, the system will calculate the return time according to the current distance and height by sending a warning to the pilot. The shell has one Thickness of only 1.2 mm which reduce the overall weight of the drone by improving flight performance. The battery is a drive from 5100 mAh lithium polymer composed by 4 mini-batteries with 4.35 V voltage each, for a total of 15.2 V and a power of 77.52 Wh, capable of supporting approximately 30 flight minutes.
The Xiaomi Mi Drone 4K will be sold to 2999 yuan, 500 dollars, while the battery will be affordable at 499 yuan, at the Xiaomi's physical stores, Mi Home, Tmall, JD, Suning etc .. Now I'm not an expert in drones but peeking a bit around I feel that even this time Xiaomi offers a high quality product at a super competitive price. And what do you think?
