Meizu 18 it will be the next flagship smartphone of the Chinese company of the same name, which should debut within a few months. In line with the company's policy that only two top-of-the-range smartphones will be presented, also this year there will be two devices: 18 and 18 Pro. But if until now we have been sure that they would both have integrated a Snapdragon 888 processor, a screenshot casts doubt on this important feature. It seems in fact that the standard version will be equipped with a Snapdragon 870.

If what emerged today were true, then only Meizu 18 Pro will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. But let's go see the details. A leaker on the Chinese social network Weibo he shared an image that puzzles us. This is a screenshot from the standard version of the next top of the range Meizu. Image capture tells us some device parameters such as rear cameras, processor e version of the FlymeOS.
Let's go in order. It is possible to notice that there is a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 instead of a Snapdragon 888. As anticipated, this could mean that only the Pro variant will have the latest generation super powerful SoC. But in addition to this, other details also emerge. In particular:
- rear cameras: there should be three sensors of which a 64 megapixel main, a 12 megapixel ultra wide angle and a 5 megapixel macro
- the memory: only a variant with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is mentioned but we know that at least the Pro model will count on a variant with more memory
- code name: the code name M181Q turns out to be that of Meizu 18
- FlymeOS: the version of the customized interface is 8.3.0.0A
