Do you know the Mi Pilot project? The one that allows you to register and have access to preview to certain MIUI features? Already at the beginning of the year the brand had thought about recruiting beta testers for the MIUI Global referring to many different devices between Xiaomi and Redmi. The same thing is happening this time, but for only three terminals: Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro. With a recent thread on Mi Community in fact, yes they are recruitment for MIUI 12 Global Stable Beta is open on these three devices. Here's how to sign up.
Owners of Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro can request the registration to the Mi Pilot Testing Program to try out the MIUI 12 preview
Interested users who own these two devices will be able to apply by going to the official website Mi Community. This pilot project will allow you to become part of those few elected ones who will test the MIUI 12 in preview compared to the others. It is therefore a Global version pre-release. We don't want to shoot too high, but this could be a signal that "in the short term", perhaps by July, we could see some signs of MIUI global.
How to request access to the program
As for the previous version of the Mi Pilot project, to access the program dedicated to Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro you must request to join the group MIUI Global Stable Beta Testing Recruitment Group by 18st May next.
What are the privileges
By joining this group you do not have immediate access to MIUI 12. Once access is requested, the users selected by the team will be added to the group Telegram prepared. Remember that the official communications about the Beta Testing will be carried out EXCLUSIVELY through this social network instant messaging.
Main rules
Broadly the main rules to become part of this restricted number of users are:
- have a Global Stable already installed on the device;
-
you must follow all the rules of the Mi Community and not provide leaks on anything related to the ROM provided during the tests;
-
you need to have a thorough knowledge of MIUI, inside and out, including the Fastboot flash and unlocking the bootloader.
These are not the only rules but the most important ones. We also remind you how to check if you have a Global ROM or not. Going to "Settings”>“System info”You will find yourself on the page where there are all the main information of your device. In the row “MIUI Version”You will see a whole series of numbers and letters.
- "MI" indicates the global version (V10.2.2.0.PFBMIXM)
- "IN" indicates the Indian version (V10.3.12.0.PFHINXM)
- "UE" means the SEE version (V10.3.10.0.PFJEUXM)
- "RU" indicates the Russian version (V10.3.8.0.PFJRUXM)
Only the former can apply for this program.
