According to what revealed by the Polish colleagues, in the beta version of MIUI 12 released today with the designation 20.11.13, the Chinese brand has implemented several functions related to improving the quality of photos and videos displayed in full screen. Note one thing: the code that has been recognized is currently available in the Beta version of the custom skin but only for devices updated to Android 11. But what are the three novelties discovered? Here they are below
HDR effect added on MIUI 12
Through this new function it will be possible add HDR effect to your shots what are we doing. In this way it will be possible to extract more particular photos and view more vivid colors. In other words it will be possible to see one much richer color gamut than normal. Currently the pre-installed camera application supports this standard.
MEMC on MIUI 12
As well as on the latest generation televisions, the MEMC technology will allow to add frames to the base ones supported by the panel. In this way the effect is that of a much smoother movie / video / clip than normal. In the video above you can see the difference between videos with and without MEMC.
Super resolution on MIUI 12
As the name suggests, this new feature will give way to change the resolution of a video by increasing its quality. This means that, within certain limits, thanks to artificial intelligence it will be possible increase a video from 720 pixels to 1440 pixels. Clearly, the modification must be supported by a particular application.
It is clear that it is not currently possible to say when these new features will arrive neither in the China Stable versions nor in the Global ones. It is equally not possible to say whether the devices with Android 10 will be able to take advantage of these services. The source says no, but that's all to be seen.
