As promised Xiaomi has finally released theMIUI 8.2 update for Global Stable for all the devices interested in such that until now, however, had not yet received it. The update should be available via thededicated Updater app or you can go directly to the site MIUI for the download of the update ROM just like I did (which must surely be done if you come from MIUI 7 / 8 Global Stable).
Currently the MIUI 8.2 update was only released for Mi 4, Mi 3, Mi 4, Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm, Redmi Note 4X, Mi 1, Mi Note, Redmi 4S, Redmi Note 2G, Redmi 3 Prime, , Redmi 2, Mi 2, Redmi 5A, Mi 4S and Redmi Notes Prime.
So the other Xiaomi models stayed out but that they will now receive the update are the Redmi Notes 3 Qualcomm, Redmi Notes 3 Special Edition, Redmi Notes 4 MTK, Redmi Notes 2, Mi 2 / 2S. Finally, the Redmi 3S / Prime, Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime models are already available to download the update..
In total 24 is the Xiaomi models to receive the mega update that decodes one further records for the company as it was the only one to release such an important update even for models defined as “old”. We hope that this also happens for the new one MIUI 9.
