A mountain bike that conceals many innovations, certainly not found in other bicycles. But let's take a step at a time.
With a weight of salt 13.6 Kg and two wheels from 27.5 inches, the Mi Qicycle aims to break the competition by focusing on the blend of production technology and smart technology experience: the all-aluminum chassis is flanked by a Shimano change to 11 reports and one hydraulic disc brake, as well as the damping system which is also hydraulic. To the purely constructive features just listed, to which the size of the Xiaomi Mountain Bike (1650 x 235 x 785 mm) is added, it is accompanied by a whole host of smart features that we are beginning to see.
The Smart on a Mountain Bike
First of all, the presence of a localization module will allow the cyclist to constantly monitor the position of his or her bike through a 'dedicated app. The system of geolocation GPS and A-GPS works either with data connection (you can take advantage of a China Mobile SIM) or offline.
Of course, the dedicated app will keep track of the pace and the completed distances, a bit like seen with the App for the Amazfit Sportswatch. The smart module, which you can see in the image above, features a battery integrated with 2600 mAh and a classic USB port by which you can reload the module in about two hours, why not, also using a powerbank.
The module's autonomy is set around the 15 days, but there is no way to know under what conditions of use.
Are you curious to find out the price? I anticipate that the price of this Xiaomi Mi Qicycle Mountain Bike it is absolutely astonishing if we consider that inside we will find all this series of tracking capabilities which, on a standard bike, is almost impossible to find.
Nothing to do with the Xiaomi racing bike in carbon fiber, obviously, but not even with the foldable bike announced by the company and not yet put on the market! In fact, while the first two bikes cost 2.540 Euro and 387 Euro, respectively the price of the Smart Mountain Bike of Xiaomi stops at only 1999 yuan (approximately EUR 254 at the exchange rate) that, to be honest, is a great price seen some exorbitant bicycle prices in stores!
