Let's go back and talk about the hypothetical curved smartphone on site by Xiaomi also adding the possible model of Huawei. A recent rumor from China has told us that the suppliers of the curved displays will most likely be both Samsung and LG. In this way, Huawei could rely completely on Samsung while Xiaomi totally on LG, so as to have the security of a supply of panels sufficient to meet the high expected demand.
As far as technical features are concerned, the Xiaomi Mi Edge (or Xiaomi Mi Note Edge) is expected to rely on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC (same as Mi5) with quad core 64 bit CPU and Adreno 530 GPU.
