From its official Weibo account dedicated to the Notebook line, a new version of Xiaomi Notebook Air from 12.5 was announced yesterday. The Air 12.5 Notebook was presented last year along with a variant with an 13.3 screen ″ and a different hardware configuration: Intel Core M3 processor (sixth generation) for the first and an Intel Core i5 chip for the second.
Now Xiaomi has updated the configuration of its "entry-level" notebook, equipping it with an Intel Core M3 seventh generation, which leads to an improvement in 12% performance compared to the previous generation. Furthermore, a 12.5GB memory variant has been added to the 128 model with 256GB storage space, with the possibility of expanding the internal storage for both versions.
There are no further changes in its specifications compared to the previous model: the notebook maintains its ultra slim line with its thick 12,9mm, a completely metal body and a weight of only 1,07kg. There is 4GB of RAM supporting the processor and is said to be able to offer up to 11,5 hours of use. The fast charge feature is also supported.
The new Xiaomi Notebook Air from 12.5 ″ is available in presale from this morning at 10 on the Mi.com site, at a price that starts from 3.599yuan for the 128GB version (about 487,00 €) and 3.999yuan for the 256GB version (about 541,00 €) . Unfortunately the official Xiaomi site does not allow registrations outside of China, but it will surely soon be put on the list of the main sites that deal with shipping all over the world.
