All the attention is certainly aimed at the launch of the Mi 6 and those that should be of extraordinary characteristics. But in these hours sprout of rumors about some products that Xiaomi could launch together with the expected top of the range.
In fact, it would seem that Xiaomi has foreseen the presentation of a new smartphone with a Qualcomm processor on board: a medium range with excellent performance then? And why not think it's the second generation of the company's first true phablet?
Xiaomi Mi MAX 2 Appears on GFXBench?
According to a technical file on GFXBench, a well-known benchmark site, the smartphone that could be presented with the Mi 6 would be the Mi MAX 2 and the specifications are not to be ridiculed!
With the code name "Oxygen", the new Mi MAX 2 should have a display of 6,4 inches to confirm the filia rouge wanted by Xiaomi for its "padellosa series".
By deciphering the analysis, as far as a Snapdragon 660 processor is concerned, you really have to look at a couple of things: the Adreno 506 GPU, though supported by other SoC Qualcomm, is the one that is best supported by the processor Snapdragon 626. Confirmation of what was highlighted would also be the clock of cores that should be - the conditional is always required - of Cortex A53 @ 2.2GHz exactly as expected by the Snapdragon 626.
Despite this brief reflection, many sources talk about the presence of the 660 processor, but we do not hear this voice because, having to rely on what we see, there is no evidence to confirm this.
The hardware park of the new Mi MAX 2 should therefore be completed with a RAM memory from 4GB and an internal memory from 128GB which we do not know if it will have different versions. As always as you can read from the technical card, we can also reveal that the two cameras - front and rear - should have a resolution of 5 Megapixel and 11 Megapixel respectively.
We just have to have more news about it, but even with the fact that a technical file leaked, the new Mi MAX 2 could really be launched at the end of the month and why not steal the scene from the new Xiaomi Mi 6!
Let us know what you think! Do you really believe that the Mi MAX 2 will be equipped with Snapdragon 660 despite the GFXBench card telling it?
