It took place there presentation official of NothingPhone (2), the second smartphone from the co-founder of OnePlus Carl Pei. The manufacturer decided that last year's model was already quite unique compared to competitors, so it does not need significant changes. The novelty, therefore, is not much different from its predecessor externally. However, there are some really interesting technical characteristics.

Nothing Phone (2) can be distinguished from the first generation only through a direct comparison. The main changes concern the proprietary LED backlight, which is now split into multiple segments. In front, in the new product, the front camera has moved from the corner to the center of the screen. The latter remained flat, but now has the 2.5D glass slightly rounded at the edges. In general, the body of the device has become less “sharp”.
With the second generation, the manufacturer has significantly improved the capabilities of the proprietary backlight, which is called Glyph. For example, can now visually show volume level and timer progress in real time. Compatibility with some third-party applications is also declared, but hardly many developers will support this initiative.

As for the technical equipment, the novelty received a more powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor (the first model had Snapdragon 778G+), a 6,7 inch AMOLED display cwith Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, a battery from 4700 mAh with support for fast charging with cable from 33w and 15W wireless. It runs on Android 13 with three announced OS updates and four years of software support.
Like its predecessor, Nothing Phone (2) has two cameras: a main camera from 50 megapixel with Sony IMX890 sensor, f/1.9 lens aperture and optical image stabilization, and an ultra wide-angle camera from 50 megapixel with Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor and 115 -degree field of view. The resolution of the front camera is 32 megapixel.
