Nubia Z50 arriving on December 19 with Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage
The Nubia brand has confirmed that the Z50 series will be equipped with a new generation of high-end hardware, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen2, LPDDR5X type RAM and UFS 4.0 internal memory.
As we know the second generation Snapdragon 8 is Qualcomm's latest flagship processor, it uses TSMC's 4nm process, which improves performance by 35% compared to the previous generation, and improves AI capability by 4,35 times.
The LPDDR5X RAM instead brings a speed increase of 33% compared to the previous generation and the frequency is 8533 Mbps.
Finally, UFS 4.0 flash storage is a new mobile flash storage standard released in August. Thanks to the high-speed serial interface and optimized protocol, the bandwidth of the interface doubles to 23,2Gbps, enabling a maximum read and write speed of 4,2GB/s, sequential read/write. The speed has increased by 100% and the power consumption ratio has improved by 46%.
In addition, the Nubia Z50 series will also use a new customized 35mm optical system, equipped with an external main camera with an equivalent light input of more than 1 inch.
