The beginning of a new week has brought with it yet another series of rumors about the Mi 6, which have now become a fixed appointment that has been with us for days and which will last until the fateful official presentation, expected for the month of February. The latest news (if we can call them that, given the lack of "evidence") speak of a Mi 6 characterized by a metal body and fingerprint scanner, now a tradition for the top of the Xiaomi range. According to rumors, the camera mounted on the device would guarantee excellent performance, surpassing the Sony IMX378 sensor present on board Mi5s in terms of quality. The real dilemma concerns the number of models that will be produced. The leakers continue to provide conflicting news: there are those who speak of two versions, one with a flat screen and another, with better specifications, with a curved screen. Other reports speak of two models similar in design but different in substance, with a Qualcomm to power the more performing version and a more modest Mediatek for the budget version. Another indiscretion seems to be back in fashion, which had already been rumored a month ago, which speaks of three versions of the smartphone. This time, however, there is a variation on the theme: instead of three terminals, each of which equipped with a different chipset (Snapdragon 835, Helio X30 and another SoC developed directly by Xiaomi) of which we had already spoken, this time it would be two flat screen versions, equipped with Helio X30 and Snapdragon 835 respectively, and a curved screen equipped with the aforementioned 835. It is difficult to understand if one of the many rumors can be really genuine, but we hope that Xiaomi will soon shed light on "Mystery" as soon as possible, putting an end to this odyssey of conflicting and inconclusive leaks.
