If until a few days ago the idea of releasing a Redmi Band was only in the air, this seems to be becoming more and more concrete. In fact, the name of Redmi Band was found within the Xiaomi Wear app, i.e. the one that controls the operation of the Xiaomi Mi Watch and Mi Watch Color. In the code found we are not only given confirmation therefore of the name with which the company will market the new wearable, but also some features such as the control of the watchfaces, the monitoring of the heartbeat, the notifications, the weather, the alarm clock, the control of the music, the search for the device and also a note on payments.
Just the note dedicated to payments could suggest the provision of an NFC sensor. The images appeared in the lines of code also confirm the design of the future Redmi Band, which more than clashing at home with Xiaomi's Mi Band 4 seems more like stepping on Huawei's economic solutions. Having said that, with n0n design we can expect who knows what, on the other hand a bit like watches or you opt for a circular or square crown, and in the case of the band you go for the traditional rectangle similar to the "old" AmaZFit Cor.
The launch of the new wearable gadget dedicated to fitness should not be delayed much, considering that the Redmi company is ready for the launch of 2 new low-cost smartphones, the Redmi 9 and Redmi Note 9/9 Pro, between the news of the latter the Redmi 9 could incorporate one of the last MediaTek Helio G70, as the latest rumors say, while the Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro could give way to Snapdragon 720G presented only a few weeks ago.
Without going further, Redmi India has released a new video with the hashtag #MorePowerToRedmi, referring to the new generation of Redmi smartphones that will be presented shortly but the same hashtag could also define the autonomy that Redmi Band will bring with it.
