New renderings show a Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 with a front pop-up camera!

With the launch of Xiaomi Mi MIX, the Chinese smartphone maker, not only has set a new mainstream, but also introduced a new term of "Full screen". However, the second generation models, ie the Mi MIX 2 e Mi MIX 2S they weren't as stunning as the first due to the unchanged screen ratio. However, it seems that this "problem" will be solved with the release of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 third generation.

All three Xiaomi Mi MIX phones have the same frameless design. Xiaomi uses innovative technologies, such as a piezoelectric ceramic driver and an ultrasonic proximity sensor.

Pop-up2

In addition, the second-generation Mi MIX has adopted three innovative approaches, including a micro-front camera module, flexible packaging technology COF (Chip-on-Film) and an active antenna tuning program to improve call quality.

This trinity allows the manufacturer to reduce the size of the 12% phone. However, there is still a chin, on which we can find a front camera.

There are two smartphones that have solved the problem related to the front camera sensor in a particular way. Obviously, we talk about the VIVO NEX which uses a pop-up approach for cameras and OPPO Find X which uses a two-track predator structure that contains all the sensors.

For Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, we have already seen a couple of leaked photos, which show us that it will offer a true full-screen design. This simply means that the manufacturer has solved the problem with those sensors that are quite difficult to position.

Recently published renderings show the upcoming model that will narrow the edges on the sides, forehead and chin. It should be within 2 mm, and probably he will also use packaging technology COP own like all the models mentioned above.

Pop-up3

Furthermore, it is assumed that Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 use a pop-up front camera model identical to NEX. A Mi fan also revealed that Xiaomi he had applied for a similar patent in the 2015. So there are every reason to think that the next smartphone will use something like that.
