More or less in April we delighted you with the news of an amazing smartwatch proposed in crowdfunding on IndieGoGo by Huami, or the Amazfit X, wearable that had conquered because of its curved 3D design, defined by many as a science fiction beauty . The watch of the future has received excellent acclaim and now the company seems to have better defined the resolution of some technical problems related to the construction and is preparing to launch the device on the market, changing its name to Amazfit Future Watch, but switching back to the mode of crowdfunding sales.
40 days of production time, more than 200 complicated shielding processes and a defect rate of up to 50% were the technical problems found in the first variant of Amazfit Future Watch, formerly Amazfit X, but now the company makes it known that it has finally overcoming technical difficulties by providing for the production of this watch in series.
A crowdfunding amount of $ 1,96 million was raised on IndieGoGo, reaching the crowdfunding target of almost one hundred times the requested amount. A real success !!!
In terms of price, Amazfit Future Watch has an official list of 329 dollars but its final price, after the fundraising operation could rise. In particular, the display of this wearable adopts an HD resolution with a PPI (pixel per inch ratio) of 326 and a maximum brightness of 400 nit.
The 3D curvature allows you to adapt perfectly to the shape of the wrist avoiding the classic annoyances linked to the ergonomics of classic wearables. In particular, we have a curvature of 92 degrees made with a glass that is brought to a temperature of 700 degrees centigrade and a six-phase bending process. As if that were not enough, the battery is also curved (obviously not hot) to bring a comfort never seen before on a wearable, reaching an autonomy of 7 days.
There are no physical buttons, but hidden on the lateral surface of the capsule that are operated by means of pressure and if you are wondering we have also integrated a GPS with ultra-fast fixes.
