Probably the hype for the new Redmi brand flasghip is not skyrocketing, at least not for us in the West, since the new Redmi K30S is nothing more than the already well-known Xiaomi Mi 10T. In any case, the Chinese people were waiting for it, and today with the formalization of the terminal there will be many users who know the fact. But having presented the Redmi K30S in the motherland could actually reserve good surprises even for us Europeans, as this smartphone could be a forerunner for the expected Redmi Note 10 which at the moment is still waiting, even if not for long , as according to rumors November will be the month for the launch of the new series.

Official Redmi K30S: identical to Xiaomi Mi 10T but with more memory and power
The main, if not the only difference, concerns the memory cuts offered, which for the Redmi flagship are configured in 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 28/256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Our Xiaomi Mi 10T instead offers a RAM 6 GB and 128 GB of internal memory, but always with LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 technology. The rest of the technical specifications are unchanged and therefore overlapping between the two devices, being able to count on a Snapdragon 865 SoC and a 6,67-inch display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. That said, even the design does not move one iota, except for the writings that distinguish the two brands, Redmi and Xiaomi. At each one the rear photographic module stands out, a rectangle that houses the 4 optics and LED flashes, while on the front the display is immersive thanks to a small punch hole that incorporates the selfie camera.

Of course, the price for the new Redmi K30S is proposed for the benefit of the Chinese people, which starts from a price list of about 327 euros at the current exchange rate, for the variant from 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, while the price for the variant equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory it opens for about 352 euros at the exchange rate. Both variants are available in Cosmic Black and Lunar Silver colors, but the Chinese will probably wait until November 11 (Singles Day event) to proceed with the purchase, as the company has reserved a tasty promotion that lowers the price. respectively at 289 euros and 315 euros, always at the exchange rate. Who knows if Xiaomi will also reserve the same treatment for us Westerners, considering that this event is now particularly felt in our market.
