OnePlus 8T is not IP68, but it takes a shower without problems | Video

There is no doubt that OnePlus 8T is one of the most complete devices released in 2020. It has numerous features that make it attractive, even more than its brothers 8 and 8 Pro: for example the flat display. However, with the standard model it shares a feature: theabsence of IP68 certification. This means that the company absolutely does not certify that the device is resistant to splashing water. It is true, however, that nowadays all flagships have a minimum of tolerance. Yet today OnePlus lets us know that although it is not IP68 certified, the smartphone also resists a shower.

Unlike the Pro model, OnePlus 8T is not certified waterproof: so why does it have no problems under water or even in a toilet?

Just a few minutes ago up YouTube, OnePlus shared a cute video in which it shows one OnePlus 8T in careless hands. In particular, the brand wanted to make it clear that although the device is not IP68 certified, and therefore not waterproof, it can still resist under water. However, it must be specified that this experiment is not to be done at home! As also said by the company, it is a test model and therefore does not recommend replicating the experiment. In large letters, at the beginning of the video, it says:

We experiment with water so that you don't
