Less than a week ago we talked about one OnePlus with Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor. Although the evidence for his existence was there, and was also clear, his name was not known. According to Android Central, however, the device in question seems to be its own Oneplus clover, the smartphone we talked about long ago when we accused the Geekbench portal (for a change). On that occasion it was shown how the processor on board was one Snapdragon 660 but we have provided abundant evidence that this was not true. Today comes the proof that we were right, and in fact the low budget device we are talking about will have the low end 460.
Android Central unveils OnePlus Clover will have a mammoth 6000 mAh battery and a low budget Snapdragon 460 processor
After launching OnePlus North as his "first" mid-range device, it seems that Pete Lau's company is willing to jump headlong into the low end sector. This means that the brand policy will be the same in the future as all other companies. This does not mean that it will launch smartphones like Xiaomi at breakneck speed, but that the market will be diversified. Nor does it mean that all the devices it will launch will be destined for the European market.
In fact, according to the source, Oneplus clover will be intended for United States. But in terms of specs what will we find under the hood? Everything we expect from a smartphone from low end, but with a special attention to detail as only OnePlus can do.
The name we see in the title is in quotes as it is not certain that it is called Clover: this is in fact its code name. But beyond that, here are the complete specifications:
- 6.52 ″ IPS LCD display with HD + resolution (1560 x 720);
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 octa-core processor (4 x 1.8 GHz Cortex A7 + 4 x 1.8 GHz Cortex A53) with 11 nm lithographic process;
- GPU Adreno 610;
- 4 GB RAM memory, 64 GB internal storage (expandable);
- triple rear cam: 13 + 2 + 2 megapixel;
- rear fingerprint sensor;
- connectivity: 4G and Bluetooth 5.0;
- 3.5 mm audio jack (finally);
- 6000 mAh battery with 18W charging.
All in all a noteworthy smartphone, especially for the mammoth battery , quick charging. We are not here to argue about the few differences with other devices from other brands since it is not our intention. We are confident that this device will be a top among the low range.
