OnePlus Watch disassembled from iFixit: it takes a really expert hand

Oneplus watch fell into the hand of iFixit, the well-known team that deals with repairs of any type of electronic device. The first smartwatch but the second wearable of the brand has been pampered if we compare this teardown with what Zack Nelson usually does to devices. But how did he behave? Let's go see it together. Spoiler alert: teardown is not for the faint of heart.

Gone are the themes, probably, in which clocks were repaired. Because basically also Oneplus watch it's a watch, albeit with some smart side. Well, iFixit takes care of the repair and decided a few hours ago to publish the disassembly of the device in question. There is hardly any no adhesive used to hold the components of the smartwatch together, except for the battery.

They are used simple screws to hold most parts in place, including the back half, but two types of screws are used instead of one. There are some cables and brackets that connect the pieces and they are more dull and fragile in smartwatches than in larger smartphones. Even if the battery is glued, it's not that hard to remove according to the team.

La the most complicated part, however, is the sensor located at the bottom by OnePlus Watch. This, according to the expert hands of iFixit, cannot be removed without inevitably breaking a component that cannot be repaired. Ultimately the OnePlus smartwatch receives a vote of 5/10 however, it is more difficult to disassemble than Apple Watch 6.
