After presenting the new one OPPO A73 a couple of days ago, the Chinese company seems ready to launch a 5G version of the device. To the surprise of a few, this will be called OPPO A73 5G.

Today some of the specifications of the smartphone in question have been leaked, as well as its possible price and some images.
So let's start with the main difference, namely the presence of 5G connectivity made possible thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset which replaces the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 on board the OPPO A73 with 4G.
The screen will see an increase in its size, going from a 6,44 inch to a 6,5 inch, the refresh goes up from 60Hz to 90Hz, but on the negative side we have the transition from an AMOLED technology to the IPS one.
In any case, on the IPS display we should find a camera in the upper left, with a resolution of 8MP, instead of 16MP as on the current version.
The number of cameras on the back also drops, from four to three. OPPO has removed the 2MP sensor and moved the flash inside the camera module. We then have a battery with a capacity of 4040mAh and support for fast charging at 18W.
Other features on the OPPO A73 5G include ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3,5mm headphone jack, USB-C and NFC port.
Finally, for prices, the smartphone should cost around € 299 in our continent.
