OPPO Find X5 with Dimensity 9000 will use the integrated ISP, while the design of Find X5 and X5 Pro leaks

Today, the famous Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station has once again revealed several news on the upcoming flagship model of the next OPPO Find X5 series. In particular, the version with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip is the protagonist of today's leak.

OPPO Find X5 with Dimensity 9000 will use the integrated ISP, while the design of Find X5 and X5 Pro leaks

According to Digital Chat Station, there will be three versions of OPPO Find X5 released this time. Versions with chips manufactured by Qualcomm include the small Find X5 and the large Find X5 Pro. The two are respectively equipped with Snapdragon 888 and the new Snapdragon 8 Gen1. Except for the different specifications of the rear camera, they will be equipped with Hasselblad certified NPU chips and the 6 nanometer image processing chip “MariSilicon X” developed in-house by OPPO.

As for the versions with MediaTek chip, there will be only one OPPO Find X5 with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. According to the revelations of the blogger, this version is positioned halfway between the Pro and the basic one. It is also important to point out that OPPO's self-developed NPU chip will not be installed on the Dimensity 9000 version of the Find X5 series.

We also remember that previous leaks have revealed some details of the Dimensity 9000 chip. For example, the ISP performance of the Dimensity 9000 can be described as a leap forward and are in no way inferior to the ISP specifications of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen1. With excellent hardware as a base and high-end positioning, the Dimensity 9000's imaging algorithm has been profoundly modified for the better by the manufacturer.

In any case, the Qualcomm version will be supported by the NPU developed by OPPO, while the version with MediaTek chip directly uses the integrated ISP. The camera performance of the Dimensity 9000 version of the OPPO Find X5 is therefore still an unknown. That said, we expect MediaTek to not only outperform Qualcomm this time around, but will also regain the same level of imaging capability.

OPPO FIND X5 PRO

Apart from this, the designs of the three OPPO Find X5 are essentially the same and recently some smartphone renders have also been leaked thanks to the well-known leakster evleaks. He has in fact released images of OPPO's Find X5 series, which includes the Find X5 Pro, which has never been seen before. Judging by the renders, the Find X5 Pro has two color versions in black and white and uses the same design as the Find X5's 'crater' lens module on the rear shell.

Still with regard to the photographic sector, the OPPO Find X5 Pro seems to use two Sony IMX766 sensors as the main camera and wide-angle lens, and is equipped with a zoom lens with a resolution of 13MP. In addition, both the main and wide-angle cameras support optical image stabilization at the hardware level.

Also, on the Find X5 Pro's rear lens module, you can see the words “Powered by MariSilicon”, which means that the smartphone will be equipped with the “MariSilicon X” image processing chip.

It is reported that in addition to the high photographic performance, Find X5 Pro will also be able to record video at 60 frames per second in 4K-UHD format and support night scene mode and other special effects based on the MariSilicon X chip.

For the rest, the Find X5 Pro should equip a 6,7-inch AMOLED LTPO screen with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will also have dual speakers, a maximum of 12 + 256GB of storage, a large 5000mAh battery, and will support 80W wired fast charging and wireless charging, as well as IP68 dust and water resistant.
