Today, Chinese blogger @Shadow_leak released a rendering of a new smartphone stating that "this is the vivo NEX 5" and that this will be released in February.
vivo NEX 5 unveiled in a render: decentralized camera and curved screen
According to the render published, the design of the vivo NEX 5 is very particular. The rear module with four cameras on a rear disk is not in fact positioned centrally. Instead, it is positioned on the left, and is integrated with vivo's distinctive window design, a very recognizable design for fans of the brand.
It can also be seen from the image that the vivo NEX 5 will use a curved screen with a centered hole, the lens module still has the Zeiss LOGO and the 50MP GN1 words, which also reveal its camera specifications.
Also, according to digital blogger @ 李安 Angangah, this render is well reproduced and all lenses are present including the periscope one.
In any case, according to previous reports, the vivo NEX 5 will use a large screen of about 7 inches, the dimensions are comparable to a small tablet, the material is OLED, with the first batch being equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 and the camera rear main will be 50MP.
The vivo NEX 5 is a highly anticipated smartphone, almost literally, as the series hasn't been updated in 2 years.
