Oppo turns to gaming: here is the first cooling fan for smartphones

The sectors in which Oppo he is trying his hand at are many. We have seen how he patented several products for the smart home, but not only. In fact, today we are going to see a completely new accessory, which the company has not even launched in China. In fact it is a patent that depicts a completely new device: a fan for cooling the smartphone. Oppo has not yet launched (at least outside China) a real one gaming phone, but it may soon. That said, let's see what the company's first fan looks like.

Oppo is thinking of the proprietary smartphone cooling fan, an indispensable accessory for the most hardcore videogamers

Oppo patented its first smartphone cooling fan, an essential accessory for all those who decide to use their device as a console. Similarly to the Black Shark FunCooler Pro, Oppo's cooling fan comes in a slightly oval shape and with a grille that hides the fan itself. Below are the images from the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and specifically by patent number CN306848680S.

The design of the Oppo cooling fan is quite simple: it is a "bar of soap" with two side clips. These are used to lock the smartphone inside the tabs in order not to slide the device itself. Clearly the back of the fan (right image) has a rubber-like cover which serves to create additional grip on the back of the smartphone.

Below we see a button: this will certainly be used to turn the company's cooling fan on and off. We find evidence of a USB Type-C input, therefore, charging will take place via a physical connector and not a wireless one. However, we do not know if the device will work only if connected to the power or if it has a built-in battery.

That said, there is no point in talking about price e date of exit since it is a patent just presented in China.
