Chinese phone maker OPPO is apparently close to launching its next OPPO Reno9. Several leaks have already revealed its specifications and packaging, while today a leak seems to reveal its final design.
OPPO Reno9 seen live for the first time: very similar to Reno8
The update comes from the Chinese leakster Digital Panda who has just released the first real photos of the device on Weibo (the Chinese Twitter).
From the photos we can see that the rear camera module design is the same as that of the leaked image earlier. Notably it has a camera design with two large and one small camera cutouts and a ring-shaped LED flash. The smartphone also has an additional flash, which will likely have a different color temperature. According to previous leaks, the smartphone could be equipped with a 64 MP primary sensor. In front we find instead a central hole that houses the selfie camera.
As for performance, the OPPO Reno9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset, while the Pro version should be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset and adopt a 766MP Sony IMX50 sensor instead of the 64MP one on the non-Pro version. smartphones should be equipped with batteries with a capacity of 4.500 mAh.
The OPPO Reno9 is expected to debut in China by the end of the year.
