OPPO with camera under the screen appears in the first patent

A new patent for an OPPO smartphone has just leaked online thanks to the site LetsGoDigital.

OPPO with camera under the screen appears in the first patent

OPPO screen

As can be seen from the image above, the front of the device appears to be using a full screen design as it is in fashion these days. There are no openings on the front of the screen and there is no pop-up camera on the top of the phone. This suggests that OPPO's smartphone most likely adopts the long-awaited camera below the display.

Moving on to the back of the render, we see a circular camera layout, this is similar to the camera module design on the OPPO Ace2 currently on sale, but with the LED flash positioned inside the circular module.

On the left side of the device we have a button for adjusting the volume and on the right side there is the on / off button. There is no other extra button on the body of the smartphone. For the rest, we see the slot for the SIM card, the Type-C interface, the speaker and the microphone at the bottom.

In any case, as mentioned above, this is only a patent and we also add that it dates back to 2019, but to date the brand has not yet brought a device with this technology to the market.

The only company to have done this is the Chinese ZTE with its Axon 20 5G, but we cannot say that we were pleasantly surprised in the live photos.

In other words, the fact that OPPO has not yet launched any smartphone camera under the display is something positive, better to wait for the technology to mature instead of making it remain a "freak feature"
