For a long time it was rumored that One Plus want to abandon the CyanogenMod in favor of a proprietary rom. These rumors were confirmed on Friday 30 January when Peter Lau, CEO of One Plus, announced the development of a new rom that will be released in two versions: the OXYGEN for the international market, and the HydrogenOS for the Chinese market. The new Roma, according to One Plus, will be open, flexible, highly customizable, and will have nothing to envy the previous one CyanogenMod 11S. However, nothing to fear for CyanogenMod lovers, One Plus has promised that the famous development team will continue to support One for another two years, and witnessing this is the imminent rollout of the CyanogenMod 12s. What is unclear at this point is whether, once you release the new rom, you can choose between these and CyanogenMod, or, as I wish, have a device in dual boot. Here is a leaked image of OxygenOS that gives us a glimpse of how it will be the graphical interface.
