The great success of the Xiaomi Mi Mix is due in particular to its innovative design, conceived in collaboration with the designer Philippe Starck who recently visited the headquarters of Xiaomi in China. The visit could be done by accident, because of the fact that the idea of a worthy successor, Mi Mixe, has long been conceived. Philippe Starck had already made a similar visit in the Beijing giant technologic site in the past, during which it was revealed that the French designer would collaborate on the new and anticipated project Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.
Celebrating the visit some social photos appeared Weibo while confirming that Philippe Starck will participate in the new generation of the concept phone is just the CEO Mr. Lei Jun who in one place on his profile declares this without half measures. Unfortunately, there are no further details regarding the meeting, nor any anticipations about design or technical features, but the time of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 seems to come close.
Previous rumors talk about releasing Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 as early as next month, but this is unlikely as it may be more plausible a release in the last quarter of the 2017 somewhat like last year's presentation of the Mi Note 2 and we would probably also expect the launch of the Mi Note 3, a device just as expected by the community.
Among the alleged features, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 should incorporate the new fingerprint technology under the display.
