POCO F6 Pro, the new high-end smartphone from the Chinese brand, is getting closer to its global launch. The device got the NBTC certification in Thailand, which suggests an upcoming commercialization in that country and perhaps also in other markets. The POCO F6 Pro could be a rebrand of the Redmi K70, one of the top of the range sub-brands Xiaomi.

Il POCO F6 Pro has the model number 23113RKC6G, very similar to that of the Redmi K70, which is 23113RKC6C. This suggests that it is the same smartphone with a different name for the international audience. The Redmi K70 was launched in China in January and received a lot of praise for its top-notch technical features.
Il POCO F6 Pro is expected to inherit the same specifications as the Redmi K70, including a 6,67-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has a maximum brightness of 4.000 nits, supports Dolby Vision and has an integrated fingerprint reader. At the top there is a hole for the 16-megapixel front camera.
Under the body, the POCO F6 Pro mounts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, Qualcomm's latest and most powerful chip, paired with a LPDDR5x RAM memory and UFS 4.0 internal memory. The capacity of battery is 5.000 mAh and supports 120W fast charging, which allows you to fill 100% in about 15 minutes.
The rear photographic compartment is made up of three sensors: the 50 megapixel main with optical image stabilization (OIS),8 megapixel ultra-wide angle and 2 megapixel macro. POCO F6 Pro also offers support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and audio jack from 3,5 mm.
The F6 Pro follows in the footsteps of previous F-series models, which offered high performance at competitive prices. The POCO F5 Pro, for example, was presented in May 2023 and had good sales success. The POCO F6 Pro could debut in April or May 2024, following the trend of earlier launches compared to previous years.
The price and availability of the POCO F6 Pro have not yet been announced, but it is assumed that it will be slightly higher than that of the Redmi K70, which in China costs 2499 yuan (around 320 euros) in the basic version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.
