Almost a month ago we warned you that some units of POCOPHOHE F1, presumably the first batch destined for the Indian market, suffered from display problems as stated by some users. In particular, the problem is known as the phenomenon of Screen Bleed, and manifests itself with a sort of discoloration of the edges of the screen creating a sort of "bleeding" effect. Since then the company had not expressed itself on the unpleasant phenomenon while in these hours through a tweeter, the team POCO admitted that about 0,3% of users own POCOPHONE F1 is plagued with such hardware bug and that service centers will be happy to fix it.
The press release relates to India but we hope it will also have value on a global scale, as some Italian users have also complained about the phenomenon on their own units of POCOPHONE F1. In the press release it is also specified that the annoying "bug" in reality on many units is not such, but is due to a color gradient of MIUI 9 which generates this strange effect, so much so that in MIUI 10 it has been eliminated. So the problem seems to be limited to a few units, while for all the others the solution could come with a future update to MIUI 10.

Following the company declaration. If you should (or believe you) have encountered this kind of problem, please let us know in the comments.
Recently, a few POCO Fl users mentioned they experienced “screen bleeding”, owing to a bright gradient on the bottom of the display on certain screens. We would like to clarify that certain screens on MIUI 9 (MIUI for POCO) feature a gradient by design (including the power screen), and this is not screen bleeding. Further, this gradient screen has been removed from MIUI 10 onwards.
On a separate note, a very small number of POCO Fl users (less than 0.3% of total users) have experienced edge light dispersion, which is a phenomenon that does not affect the performance or usability of the phone in any manner whatsoever. At Xiaomi, we believe in providing highest quality, and keeping that in mind, we are further reducing tolerances to ensure users are provided with an experience they've come to expect of Xiaomi.
We would encourage users to walk in to any of our 1000+ service centers and get their POCO FL examined by an expert if they are facing any irregularities.
