In the middle of the year 2018, Xiaomi presented on its crowdfunding platform, a cell phone with old generation design and features but with smart features like the Xiao AI voice assistant. Since that day, new models inspired by the first generation have been proposed and the new Qin AI Assistan Pro 64GB has been available for some hours, an evolution of a model presented in November that is renewed in memory and processor.
The form factor is not renewed, proposing an elongated device (once called a motet style ") in which a 5,05-inch diagonal display in 1440 x 576 pixel resolution is created. A decidedly compact and light smartphone, thanks to a weight of 105 grams and a thickness of 8,6 mm without sacrifices from the point of view of connectivity, such as the USB Type-C input with OTG support, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, 4G LTE , GPS as well as the voice assistant function via Xiao AI, with dedicated button, positioned on the polycarbonate body which also houses a 5 MP rear camera.
Qin AI Assistant Pro 64 GB: Xiaomi's hybrid smartphone is renewed
As anticipated before, the new Qin AI Assistant Pro 64GB is renewed in the processor and memory, precisely from 64 GB in which we already find 12 applications dedicated to the smart functions of the phone, as well as the Android 9 Pie operating system in the Android GO version, although the RAM is 2 GB. The processor instead is the Unisoc SC9863A of which we honestly ignore the performance, while to power the whole thing is a 2100 mAh battery.
Among the smart functions, real-time translation into 62 languages but also the possibility of controlling our Xiaomi ecosystem appliances, such as robot vacuum for example or using Qin AI as remote control. Qin AI Assistant Pro 64 GB is currently sold only up Xiaomi Youpin at a price of 799 yuan, or about 102 euros at the exchange rate, but considering what has happened for past generations, although it can be found at third-party stores, support for the Italian language will never happen.
Simply beautiful, any hope that it will arrive in Italy?
