Qualcomm unveiled the new Immersive Home chipset line which includes the 310 series and 210 series Small size 6 mesh WiFi router to be used inside homes without taking up too much space. Mesh routers are usually quite large, however larger than traditional ones. With this move Qualcomm, and its partners, have begun to minimize spaces. The chips are designed to bring Gigabit speeds to pocket routers. Brands such as Xiaomi, Belkin e TP-Link have announced that their future products will use the US company's chipsets. Let's go see the details.
Qualcomm announces its mini 6 mesh WiFi routers: lots of speed in very little space. Here is the future of ultra-fast internet
Thanks to a modular architecture the new systems 6 mesh WiFi they are capable of higher internet speeds. In particular, those tri-band the 310 series, which includes the 316 and 318, are designed to use all three bands simultaneously 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz e 6 GHz in order to reliably and quickly manage numerous applications simultaneously that require high bandwidth. The goal, says Qualcomm, is to do advance WiFi 6 and 6E coverage, heir to the current 5.
As mentioned, several manufacturers including Xiaomi, Belkin, TP-Link, AVM, Askey, EnGenius, eero, Netgear e Plume they said they will be at the forefront of purchasing and using this new type of technology. But where does it come from? Basically the American giant realized that during the lockdown period the demand for streaming media in 4K resolution was increasing. With it also increased the demand for quality and therefore a problem-free experience. As we know platforms like YouTube and Netflix lowered the quality of the videos to allow as many users as possible to enjoy a decent experience.
Thanks to this technology Qualcomm will allow the giants not to lower the quality of the streaming allowing ultra low latency, integration features with the home and extensive support for wireless technology.
