Chinese smartphone maker Realme recently released teasers that gave us an idea of what to expect on the upcoming Realme 8 Pro. Today, however, the smartphone appeared on the website of the American certification body FCC.
Realme 8 Pro FCC Certified: Battery Capacity and Charging Power Revealed
The Realme 8 Pro 4G, which appears under model number RMX3081, will come with a 4500mAh battery and 65W fast charging support, according to FCC. Previously, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth had hinted that the standard Realme 8 will contain a larger battery, namely a 5000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge charging. Although the 8 Pro has a smaller battery, the smartphone will be equipped with faster charging.
The 65W charging support shown in the FCC document is consistent with the specifications of the company's SuperDart chargers. Again, the battery configuration is similar to last year's Realme 7 Pro. We can therefore assume that the device will recharge from zero to 100% in just 34 minutes, while 10 minutes of charging will provide up to 43% charge.
As for other specs, Realme recently confirmed that the Reame 8 Pro 4G will have a 2MP 1 / 1.52 ″ Samsung HM108 primary sensor. The sensor will support 9-in-1 pixel binning technology and ISOCELL Plus technology.
The smartphone is also expected to run on Realme UI 2.0 based on the Android 11 operating system. Finally, the 8 Pro 4G is also rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 730G.
