The wearable sector is certainly more flourishing than ever, so much so that every mobile phone manufacturer has thought to have its say in this area, like Realme who about two months ago presented its first fitness band, aka Realme Band. Perhaps an experiment that brought the Chinese OEM also debuted with its first smartwatch, but still a success so much that Realme band is receiving a substantial update, of which now I will bring you the most interesting news.
Realme Band is updated: here are the improvements of the first official update
The update is defined as V6.0 and now allows you to view weather information, as well as introduces the FIND MY PHONE function, useful if we lose the associated smartphone within the range of the band's Bluetooth. There are also improvements related to heart rate monitoring, better synchronization of collected data as well as an extended time for displaying messages.
Realme Band with this update should materialize as a complete fitness band, although the competition in the entry level band is really fierce, first with Xiaomi's Mi Band 4 and recently also with the new Redmi Band, which also challenges its design.
Perhaps a global launch could help the popularity of the Realme wearable gadget, currently available only in India at prices of around 18 euros at the current exchange rate.
