For several weeks now we have been talking about the first Realme laptop, which should arrive under the name of Realme Book. Well finally the brand has revealed on Weibo (the Chinese Twitter) that it will release the long-awaited laptop at 15:00 (local time) on August 18th in China.

The Realme Book will be announced during the festival known as Realme 828 in China. At the event we may also see a tablet called Realme Pad, although it is currently unclear if it will become official alongside the Realme Book on August 18th.
In any case, the official poster and the image shared by the Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station show us the next Realme Book. The laptop features a metal chassis and slim bezels. It has a backlit keyboard and a large touchpad. A dedicated fingerprint scanner is also available on the device. It's unclear how many Realme Book models will be announced next week in China.
Previously, Madhav Sheth, Realme's CEO for Europe and India, anticipated a Realme laptop called the Realme Book Slim. At the same time, a leak revealed that Realme Book Slim will be a lightweight model weighing only 1,3 kg.
For specs, the laptop is expected to adopt an Intel Core i5-1135G7, a 2-inch 14K display, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, 512 GB of PCIe memory, Intel Xe graphics, and a 54 Wh battery.
