OPPO's sub-brand Realme has just confirmed that it will launch the Realme GT 5G in China on March 4th. The launch poster suggested that the Realme GT's main features include a high refresh rate display, a powerful chipset, and faster charging. Leakster Abhishek Yadav soon revealed some key specific features.
Realme GT 5G coming March 4th with 160Hz screen and 125W charging
The leakster claimed that the Realme GT 5G will go to adopt an OLED screen with a refresh rate of 160Hz. As some of you may know, ASUS, Lenovo, Vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE have already launched several devices that support a 144Hz refresh rate, but that number has never been exceeded.
This means that Realme's GT could become the first smartphone with a 160Hz screen. The leakster also revealed that the smartphone will support 125W fast charging, also known as UltraDart technology.
However, these data are not new, in fact the Ice Universe leakster had stated the same the previous month. In particular, that leak gave the device with a 6,81-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 160 Hz and a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels, a triple camera system of 64 megapixel + 13 megapixel + 13 megapixel, a 5.000 mAh battery with 125W charging support, Snapdragon 888 SoC, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB RAM and Realme UI 11 based Android 2.0 OS. It should come in glass and leather back options.
Finally, Realme has already anticipated the arrival of its smartphone also on its European Twitter account.
