Realme is one of the fastest growing smartphone brands in the world, thanks to its strategy of offering quality devices at competitive prices. Among its upcoming launches, there are two models that promise to be very interesting: the Realm GT5 and GT5Pro.
Realme GT5 Pro: camera specifications leaked in the brand's next flagship
The first, according to some rumors, will be an international version of the GT Neo6, which will be presented in China in the coming weeks. The GT5 is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, Qualcomm's latest chip with high performance and excellent energy efficiency.
The second, on the other hand, will be the real top of the Realme range for the end of the year, and will mount the processor Snapdragon 8 Gen3, which will be even more powerful and advanced than the previous one. The GT5 Pro will also stand out for its photographic sector, which according to the latest rumors will be very rich and versatile.
To reveal some details about the camera of the GT5 Pro was the well-known leakster Digital Chat Station on the Chinese social network Weibo. According to this source, the GT5 Pro will have a main camera with a 9/1-inch Sony IMX1,4 series sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). This is the same sensor that will be used by the OnePlus 12, the next OnePlus flagship, which however will also have the contribution of the collaboration with Hasselblad.
The main camera will be flanked by one periscope zoom camera, which will take advantage of a 64 megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor, with 3x optical zoom. This is not a very high zoom compared to other models with periscope, but still useful for bringing subjects closer without losing too much quality.
The other two rear cameras will be one 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle and 2 megapixel macro. Nothing is known yet about the front camera, but it is assumed that it is housed in a hole in the display.
Il display of the Realme GT5 Pro should be a 6,74-inch OLED and with a 144Hz refresh rate, ideal for games and multimedia content. The battery should have two variants: one from 4600mAh with fast charging from 240W and one from 5200mAh with fast charging from 150W.
There is no official information yet on the price and launch date of the GT5 Pro, but there is speculation that it could arrive later this year or early next.
