Realme Note 1: a copy of the Redmi Note 13 according to the official specifications. How boring!

Realme is also launching one mid range series with a device known as Realme Note 1. Now it seems that all companies have chosen this trend and the truth is only one: we don't need it. Between certifications, technical characteristics and previews, here's what this new device has in store for us which seems to be a spitting copy (in terms of hardware and specifications) of Redmi Note 13.

Realme Note 1 revealed: everything we know about the new smartphone

Realme recently aroused curiosity by announcing the arrival of its new Note series. Sky Li, founder and CEO of the company now based in India, sparked excitement with a teaser via X, anticipating the imminent launch of Realme Note 1. At the same time, Francis Wong, CEO of Realme Europe, in outlining the plans for 2024, mentioned the introduction of this new product line. Breaking away from the GT, Number and C series already existing, the giant seems to be aiming for a strategy of direct comparison with competitors.

The slide shows a comparison table, according to which the device will receive the simple name Realme Note 1. The newcomer will equip Dimensity 920 slightly overclocked version of 2021, which used to be called 1080 and has now become 7050. However, it is noticeably faster than the Dimensity 6050 (810) in the Redmi Note 13 and even more so than the Helio G99 in the Infinix Note 30, which the company has chosen as direct opponents.

The table also mentions a typical screen OLED with a diagonal of 6,67″ with frequency of 120 Hz, triple camera from 108 + 8 + 2 megapixel, 16 megapixel front camera, stereo speakers, fingerprint reader under the screen and battery 5000 mAh with 67W recharge.

Release date and availability

The Realme Note 1 announcement date is 24st January, but so far this information is not official. Obviously the launch will be dedicated only to the Indian market (albeit Global) for the moment. We don't know if it will also arrive on the European market in the future... but I see it as difficult given that fierce competition from Redmi.
